There are no costs for registered membership, nor annual subscriptions. Members meet their own costs for each tour.
OUCC members feel that much of the enjoyment experienced on a tour arises from the fact that the whole choir stays in the same accommodation. For the past five years we have stayed in hotels (usually of 3 star standard). We have been able to arrange some excellent 'deals' at large hotels for our recent tours and this trend is likely to continue because we like our comfort!
Members are at liberty to arrange their own accommodation should they wish to do so, especially if they happen to live locally! Typically, a long weekend (Friday to Monday, 3 nights accommodation with breakfast and evening meal) costs about £165 to £200.
Only authentic copies of music may be used. OUCC is happy to bulk-buy and pass savings on to members. Some of the same repertoire is likely to be used in the future.
